The PCA TX Zoom meeting on Saturday, June 27 began at 10:00 a.m. when President
Ted Glover welcomed 15 members.
Secretary Claire Terry presented the Minutes of the September 25, 2025 Meeting in San Marcos. The minutes were approved as corrected.
Treasurer Jan Whitley reported on the current state and past activities of the groups finances. We are healthy.Since there have not been any PCA TX artist scholarships granted since 2022, a discussion was held on making a contribution to the national paperweight group, a glass museum, or a glass artist educational venue. Our last grant was a 2024 donation to the North Carolina Glass Center in Asheville, North Carolina for reconstruction following Hurricane Helene.
Facebook Group Chair Jean Cotter reported that the group had 6,691 views in the last sixty days.
She emphasized how important it is for members to post paperweight photos, or to send photos to
her and she will post them. If you send the photos to her, you can tell her if you wish to be anonymous, and she will honor
that.
Claire Terry and Jan Whitley gave updates on
the health of two members.
