The PCA TX 2026 Annual Meeting will be held in Cypress, Texas on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The host hotel is the Residence Inn by Marriott Houston Northwest/Cypress [https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/hourn-residence-inn-houston-northwest-cypress/overview/] located at 10456 Huffmeister Road, Cypress, Texas 77065. To make reservations, call the hotel directly at 1-281-295-1777 and ask for the discounted Paperweight Collectors Association of Texas room rate of $132.00. plus taxes. The rate includes a free hot breakfast. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 12:00 noon.
On Saturday morning, the Conference Room at the hotel will open at 9:00 a.m. for visiting with fellow members, glass artists and dealers. And of course viewing and purchasing (if you wish) the many beautiful paperweights that our dealer has brought to the meeting. The meeting will begin promptly at 10 a.m. with an hour or so break for lunch. Our meetings usually end about 3:00 p.m..
A typical meeting format is introduction of visitors and new members followed by reports from our various officers and committee chairs, then on to more entertaining/educational items like show and tell, presentations by dealers and/or glass artists and drawing door prizes.
Our guest dealer/speaker for this meeting will be Mr. Eric Jump. Eric is the current Vice-President of the Paperweight Collectors Association Inc [https://www.paperweight.org/] and owner/ operator of The Paper Weight Collection [https://www.thepaperweightcollection.com/].
There will not be any lunch provided at this meeting so please plan on bringing your own lunch or on going out for lunch.
Please bring any donations for door prizes and any snacks that we can all nibble on throughout the day…..
